As many times as I have dropped my phones from sheer accidents I can honestly say I’m extremely happy about this. The G-nex is a thing of beauty but feels like i might break it, the droid razr maxx “seems” like it might be built to withstand a beating, but if you have ever used a g’zone phone you know they don’t break regardless of what your doing and if this article is correct then I’m all for it.

I had a co-worker who said her mom got one of the yet to be released, new Casio phones because she had a friend who worked at Verizon. Said it looked like the G’Zone but with a super nice screen it was also water/shock proof. I thought she was pulling my leg, but I guess not.

I have had 3 casio tough phones (type-1, boulder, brigade)….all were great. Two of them got dropped off cell towers (by accident) and were not damaged at all. I have had them in the deserts of west texas to the snow of up state NY….never a problem.

when are manufacturers going to realize that many people do not want big phones. The gnex is too big and now we are talking bigger?? i don’t care what the specs are, if its too big I won’t buy it
