Dream phone from Moto:
*Intel quad-core
*720p display a la XT917 or XT928
*13mp back camera (better sensors) with 2mp ffc
*NFC
*4G LTE / global capable
*QWERTY slider with ICS on screen buttons (best of both worlds, allowing for a smaller bezel)
*removable battery and SD card

Along with Motorola build and radios. Maybe once Google takes over…. Nexus slate and slider variants. This would include an unlocked bootloader. Yea. With Jellybean ( I prefer Jawbreaker, sounds a lot more serious)

OR it could be that the Thunderbolt, Charge and Revolution have 2 year old single core CPU’s that are known and documented to use more power than the current crop of dual cores…..

I’m pretty sure the Nexus is using a 2nd gen chip, as well as the Stratosphere. They get MUCH better battery life in 4G than the Thunderbolt, Charge, and Revolution do.

Motorola could take a huge bite off Samsung’s market share if only they 1) unlocked the bootloader or provided a means to do so, 2) got rid of, buried, and otherwise erased all memory of Blur from their phones, 3) released fewer devices while focusing on making them better and more top of the line, 3) provided more timely software updates for all their phones, while also leaving intact Android’s new feature to disable bloatware forever.

You guys are way off base. They made this agreement to take advantage of the chip architecture Intel has in place, with a multi core setup that allows a single low power core to take over when low processing is needed, i.e. screen off and standby. Hybrid processing.

One thing to remember – everyone is using First-Gen LTE Chips… first-runs aren’t always the best. Manufacturers learn alot from these first-runs and make huge improvements in following generations. I suspect 2nd gen LTE chips should be out in 2012 and be in phones later this year….we’ll see the battery issue decrease with newer chips.

The Razr Maxx HD Tegra 3 is the phone Gotham deserves, but not what it needs right now….

Seriously…a 3300mAh is the only improvement they wanted to make…come on man!

I’ll be waitin for that Sony phone and then for the HTC Edge…and then for these guys in July…until then my Incredible is runnin smooth for 2 years and just fine.

Plus in the meantime I can snag that Lenovo Tablet with 1800×1200 res
