Never really liked these Samsung tablets…the design is really simple, nothing about it looks particularly awesome, the screens are bright but still not reflecting the Asus or Lenovo ones comin, the specs are about the same as the phones, and the interface isn’t a nice to use…plus idk, the way the apps look and the blue screen just annoy me.

This is nice but i will wait for either the Nexus tablet or i will wait for the Galaxy Note to come to Verizon….

I would agree or at least ICS. With ICS you can at least use remote wifi and create a pear to pear add hoc to transfer files. Ive been pulling my hair out on how to transfer files from my nexus to kindle fire directly.

You can transfer files between 2 NFC devices with Android Beam.

I use my D3G for wifi tethering all the time on the XOOM and I have no issues about battery life…so tether is most certainly not useless, especially with all those who would not have the unlimited data that some of us still enjoy.

Agreed! Yes not having to use 2 devices for internet (rooted phone + tablet) would be nice, but you are 100% correct about the costs, it is not worth it.

Wow, but can CES be any more of a flop for Android???

Prime “fixes” it’s problems by realeasing the same device with a fixed problem and a better screen for $100 more.

Moto releases a purple phone and the same Razr with a big battery.

Samsung releases a carrier attached touchwiz tablet without ICS.

This is ridiculous and sad.

I’d pay for data on a Tablet… Specifically this tablet. Perfect Size for Portability and very well built. Fantastic Screen too. Tethering is useless with the horrific battery life we have on phones that can barely sustain themselves.
