The CyanogenMod team introduced their next big feature for CM10.1 today, called Chronus. It’s a clock widget that resembles the new clock included in Android 4.2, only the CM team turned it up a notch by including weather and calendar options. It works on both lock and home screens, has numerous features, and will come packed inside CM nightlies starting immediately.
No word on if it will ever be pulled out to be used as a separate app on any device, but we’d certainly welcome it. (more…)
According to a report out of GSMArena, LG has some major things planned for CES, next week. In the past year, CES took a back seat in the mobile world to other conferences like MWC or to companies deciding to hold their own solo press events. A couple of hours ago, Samsung’s USA Facebook page posted up a deal that could land you a free flip cover and set of TecTiles. All you have to do is register your Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2 through their Owners Hub Facebook app and they’ll send you an email with instructions on how to claim the freebies.
Along with the free goods, they’ll also toss in a coupon code to land you 50% off of accessories. Might want to take them up on this one.
