We are always a sucker for a good infographic, so when the folks over at BlueStacks sent us their “Mr. Android 2011″ we had to share. This isn’t your normal breakdown of Android stats, but is a look at the male species and how it interacts with the Android platform on a daily basis. What color hair they have, where they are located, if it’s for work or play, and what kinds of shirts they wear. Enjoy!

Keep in mind that in this graphic “American” doesn’t just mean from the United States. It includes all of North America including Canada, Central America and the Caribbean. America is a continent, not a country. We’ve just been programed to see the word America and incorrectly think of the United States. The United States “OF” America.

In October I used over 5GB of Data I don’t usually check, but I think on average in 2011 2-4GB and no more than that. My nephew uses over 20GB on my mom’s phone watching youtube videos on 4g.

The stat that shocks me is that only 13% have more than 50 apps on their phone. I currently have 543 user apps on my phone and that is not counting the stock/system apps and only 149 of them are games. I would feel totally crippled with so few apps on my phone. Might as well go back to using a feature phone.

I know it’s just for fun but there is no way this accurate. Take the hair for example: black hair (true black hair) is pretty rare. There’s no way in hell it could be the leading trait. That right there makes me look at the whole thing with a large degree of skepticism. But then again, aren’t grossly inaccurate “facts” fun, folks?

No, but if you truly wanna use some statistical analysis, break it down. Asia is 28% of this entire break down. Let’s assume ALL of them have black hair. Black hair in Europe comprises less than 1% of the population. Considering that the US is a melting pot and I personally have been all over the country, I would take a shot in the dark and say about 70% of the population is brown or some variation thereof. Do I really need to go on?

Considering that 3.7 million Android phones were activated over Christmas weekend alone, 145,000 people is hardly a good sample. I know anything over 1,000 is considered adequate, but I don’t know…

Just moved over to Verizon to get back on the Nexus wagon and for the 5 day period of the prorated billing cycle, I managed to breeze through just over 3 gigs of data. Not gonna lie. Big fan of the LTE.
