So just because it wasn't released on the 9th it has to be released the following year? It wouldn't mean that it's closer to launch?

Seriously stop making a random guess that you know is probably wrong. At least I have a source and that source did not say it was going to be released on the 9th.

LMAO @Motorola that won't be able to put ICS on their phones for at least 6 more months. Maybe they should just higher these mod devs to do it for them. They know what people seem to want, and these guys are dedicated and fast at what they do, mad respect for the dev community

I see... The splash proof is really the only thing that interest me. Of course (probably) better radios should but my gf has Nexus S and there are no problems.

It's funny because even though the Razr is pretty cool looking I feel that the Galaxy Nexus improves on the beautiful design of the Nexus S; definitely not a glorified incredible (have you seen the Rezound?) The Razr to me looks powerful while the Nexus to me just oozes a sort of class or swagger.

But of course to each there own. I hope they release a full working Razr ROM the day after The Nexus is released. Though, I hope it makes AngelFace's Razr crash over and over... but not anyone elses :P

You are the biggest idiot in here turd. I bet it will not be release this year. I do not troll, i just type fast and it seems i am right all the time. I am not cheated with my purchase. The razr HD may be better but once again the droidx3 will be better than razr HD. All Moto products are better than Samsung's period. Go play with your fascinate whereas i play with the king of all devices on 2011 the razr :)

The RAZR is ROM-able right now, just like the Bionic and D3....and well everything else in their lineup.

Where people will dispute this is the bootloader deal. They claim "it's not REAL because you can't unlock the bootloader!" Hmmm ok ponder this.

I have the [S]hifter BAS3 ROM(with [P]urity battery mod and a couple other things that arn't supposed to work with a full Blur rom but do anyways) on my Bionic. It's a ROM. I have a locked bootloader still and 5.7.893 kernel.

I also have a Atrix 4G, running a CM7 Nightly ICS clone(which is the 4th and final ROM I put on it) Bootloader is UNLOCKED(yes people their are more Moto phones than just the OG that can be unlocked) and I'm running the stock kernel.

What's the difference between the two?

If I wanted better benchmark scores I can go through the hassle of finding a STABLE(those are RARE) kernel to install that I can overclock with the Atrix, but the Bionic is stuck at stock speed. That's the only difference between the two.

Even with my FULLY unlocked(carrier and bootloader) Atrix I still use my bionic as my prime time phone. Honestly my Atrix is basically a digital camera at this point. I have no use for it, even with the "Holy Grail" unlocked bootloader.

Better form factor, splash proof, MicroSD slot, and (probably) better radios. Arguably better camera, too, but they're all phone cameras so none are that great. The GNex has the better screen, but not enough to make a difference in actual usage. It also has NFC, but that's not quite ready for primetime (give it another year or two, in my opinion). Bottom line: I like the RAZR hardware over the GNex. Slim design, metal and kevlar build, interesting styling (the GNex looks like a glorified Incredible; old hat and boring), etc.

That said, both are killer devices. If the RAZR is ROMable, the differences come down to pure preference. Right now, I think the GNex probably has the edge due to it being a Nexus device and the RAZR being locked down.
