$10 says in the next few months these ‘battery savers’ end up being like how task killers are now. A waste of space with lots of misinformation.

They need to publish numbers on how many hours of battery life it really saves.
Also, how does this compare to popular Android battery saver apps like JuiceDefender?

Anyone remember the early builds of Dolphin with the YouTube downloader built in????? Everyone bugged out on here when they took it out. I probably have 15gigs of videos from that thing in my Dropbox from the early OG days. Actually stopped using it for a while after they removed that & they started bloating it up. Started using Miren for a loooong time, but a few months ago tried out Dolphin again just to switch it up & loved it. My default ever since. Fast/smooth & love the bookmark sync across all my Android devices & even goes cross-platform to the iPad version flawlessly. That being said, I don’t use any of the add-ons b/c they just bog it down, but I LOVE that the devs keep them as optional downloads & don’t force them on the user. Regarding the article, ill have to get off Dolphins junk & say I have absolutely no interest in this “battery-saver at all. An app to modify connections that is integrated intomy web browser??? Really Dolphin?? Your better than this.

Depends on what you do to drain your battery. I am using Juicedefender ultimate on my Rezound and it’s made a pretty dramatic difference. If you are killing your battery using LTE to surf the net, nothing short of a bigger battery would help.

Perhaps if Dolphin stayed true to their original intent, a speedy browser – and didn’t bog down the app with a battery saver and an auto-brightness feature that gets in the way of my system auto-brightness setting – maybe it wouldn’t suck so much juice.
