Introducing Google Catalogs, All Your Favorite Catalogs Right On Your Android Tablet

If you love browsing through catalogs like we do to see what kinds of goodies are out there, then Google’s newest creation, Google Catalogs is sure to make the process a lot more enjoyable.  You can browse through your favorite stores and brands with a really clean user interface right on your Android tablet.  If you see something you like, you can click within the catalog and Google will pull up a shopping cart and a way to check out directly through the app.

Users can throw together their favorite pieces and make a collage to share on the web or with other Catalogs users.  Sound enjoyable?  Then check it out in the Android Market.

This is a Google app, but yet it is being shown on an i*ad. Did Google forget that Apple is suing over pretty much any android device out there?

For some odd reason, Google released this for the iPad for they released it for any Android device.  The video posted above is from August, when the iPad version was released.  So, they’re not showing off an Android app on an iPad in that video.  They’re showing an iOS app on an iPad in that video.

I doubt there are any official video demos out just yet with it running on an Android device.

  • Anthony Vella

I just want to ask this but, Google created Android Tablets yet they demo on iPads? That really shows that Google has very little fate in the hardware manufacturers…

Same reason there’s Google Maps, Search, GMail on iOS devices.
