Why am I only getting the option to ‘listen’ to this album I just bought? I was under the impression I was going to be able to download them to my phone, and later put it on the computer. Am I just doing something wrong?

    • You have to have the new Google Music app installed on your Android Phone. The new music will be in the Recent section and you can start streaming instantly.

  • This post really “Speaks to me”.  I can finally “Breath” knowing good music is only 2 bucks.  I feel it is “Time” for everyone to spend some “Money” and buy an album or two.  The money can be “Any Color you like”, and buying most music won’t cause “Brain Damage”.

On a side, not, i prefer to think of Google Music as “The great gig in the sky”….

    who buys music?

    • Anonymous

People who like the album/artist and feel like they should support them.
Just like why would you buy apps? Because you like their work and want to support the developer.

GACK!  Who wants Justin Bieber even for two bucks?

quick question: if I buy one of these albums is there a way to download it to my harddrive, or is that not possible?

    • Bob

Yes.  When you go into the Google Music program on your PC it has a tab to download any new albums to your harddrive.  They are DRM free and what ever you do beyond that is your choice.

      • Colin Zack

        Fantastic, thank you.

  • This will help bring more people to Google Music

I really hope it does, iTunes needs more viable competition than Amazon and retail stores.

Dang it Bobby! I just bought Mylo Xyloto Saturday night. Oh well. It was worth the $5.46.

Yeah, I saw it earlier today. Picked up Rihanna’s album. Thought about getting Drake’s. I just wish the sale extended to the songs individually because I rarely ever buy full albums anymore.

    • you get the whole album for less than 2 songs why not get the whole thing?

      • Anonymous

Because I’m not fond of most of the songs on it and I wouldn’t want the whole thing synced to my Google Music player.

        • Anonymous

Yeah, it’s not too great. Roughly half of the songs sound exactly like each other… But the other half is solid.

Hmm debating, but how much better off will Drake be for my 2 dollars? Will he even see my money?

I thought it was a typo when i saw drakes cd for 2 bucks. i guess not lol
