I called VS cs about this and was told the exchange policy was extended for the holiday season but they still go by the 14 days from activation not the date of sale. Still holding out for the nexus : (

This is a good show of faith for Verizon to give to its customers. Even though they are shady at times, at least they are giving some sort of deal. Hell I look at the other 2 major carriers and they’re doing same old crap. What would make me want to sign up as a new customer?

I went to the verizon store around the 18th and asked about this. they said they never had heard about it but would check into it and call me back the next business day, even after they looked at verizon’s return policy on the website. never heard from them, but it didnt matter because i called verizon’s customer support and verified the updated return policy, then went to another store the next day and bought a Rezound.

I bought the Rezound because it is more clear (higher pixel density) than the razr. I’m still waiting to see the nexus in person, but from what i’ve been reading, the pixel density will still be higher on the rezound, not to mention im getting really comfortable with it. its a great phone. sense does not lag up the phone and looks great.

After I seen the leaked December 8th release date for the Galaxy Nexus I sent a rant to Verizon. So I figured I would share the reply. My rant is below.

So if I buy a rezound for $299 with a 2 year agreement, I can return it by the 15th and then pick up the nexus for $299 with a 2 year agreement. The only catch is I pay $35?

Went to store and got me a Razr. My OG was not keeping up and I needed a new phone. So far, I love the phone though I am not sure the battery life is good enough. I plan to look into the GN when it comes out and decide then which one to go with.

This is bullshit. I bought the Rezound on the 18th, activated and all, and my receipt says Return Date: Jan 15th, 2012.

January 9th was actually a typo. I called a rep the day this was found (when the website said January 9th) and he told me January 15th.

Verizon sales and CS reps were saying early November. Our sales rep said he got word from corporate that it would be early Nov. They work for and represent Verizon, they gave out incorrect info, ergo Verizon lied.

You can still add unlimited data once you lost it and you can add it to a new activation. They just did it for our work account on 2 new RAZR activation’s. Verizon says it’s impossible to add it. What they should have said is that it is impossible to add it to an account that doesn’t spend a few grand with them a month.

Verizon can’t help moto could not get the bionic out and verizon never specifically came out and said when the update would come that was from moto. Plus you can’t add unlimited data back that isn’t a lie.

I was making a joke but if you want specifics, Bionic being release Q211, Bionic update coming early Nov, saying there is no way to add unlimited data anymore, those are just a few off the top of my head.
