I just tried this method on my motorola droid razr and it did not work. I followed the steps exactly, I have version 4.0.4 currently running. Do you have another method to root this phone?

: Is this still good? Just got a white Razr today… not only do I want to get Jellybean, but this thing needs to be rooted altogether. lol – the bloatware count is up there. Anyhow, I’ve never rooted before (besides my OG Droid, but that was the easy 1-click method). lol

I bought the Nexus and returned it after 2 days! This thing is a battery killer. At around 2pm I already had to charge it (and I didn’t do anything too heavy). The combination of its huge screen and 4G needs 2 charges a day

im getting this phone tomorrow and just browsin around reviews on it… until i stumbled to this site. i like hacking with my computers n stuff, but never really messed around with phones.

bought the droid razr maxx today, used the instructions on the youtube site for using sqlite to mod db table to allow wifi tethering to work. Phone root was done using droid razr root from different site. phone is rooted, ipad and windows laptop connected successfully.
