I’m glad someone else finally said what i always felt about the iphone. They have their minds made up about the iphone and nobody can spoil their joy. Lord please don’t get me started on these iphone clowns that run out to get one and don’t keep more than a half roll of toilet paper in the house at any given time with 5 people living in it.

Verizon’s double data is not for the customer’s benefit, but aimed at solving three Verizon issues: 1) The consumer resentment to Verizon’s circumventing the CPNI security that you have to opt-out of their concocted privacy policy to release customer location, demographics and billing information to third parties under the guise of not providing name; 2) Verizon has been heavily spamming LTE users and using up allotted gigabytes with its Verizon Access Manager (VZAM) provided by Smith Micro Systems that creates games software and not just doing its QuickLink; Smith Micro’s VZAM also links to Microsoft Live to send heavy downloads without an aopt-in; 3) Net neutrality could be extended to wireless by the FCC, prohibiting Verizon from using the Smith Micro QuickLink or VZAM to switch users between 3G and 4G depending on if the site or app is on-deck and revenue-sharing to Verizon.

Just talked to Customer Service… they told me that we had to be within the 14 day return window in order to be eligible for the upgrade… Phone was purchased Oct 24th… So how can someone with a previous account take advantage of this without buying a new phone to get yourself within that 14 day window? They offer nothing concrete in writing… I am definitely not happy about this bullshit.

Unlimited plan users may be laughing now. But once throttling takes place on LTE, these doubled tier plan users may get the last laugh

So i called about this and the lady on the other end had no idea what I was talking about and instead put me on the UNLIMITED plan for $29.99 a month. I just went from paying $50 a month for 5 gigs,to unlimited for $30, I dont know what that girl was thinking but I could kiss her right now

As a employee for store…. This promo is scheduled to end January 15th. Existing 4g lte – Sorry, only if your with in the 14 day WFG. I dont undestand VZW logic behind this, just shows how greedy they can really be sometimes. MY Customers that bought 15+ days ago get no love from VZW on this one.

I chatted with Verizon on-line about this, asking if I switch from Sprint To Verizon for the upcoming Rezound, could I doubled the 6GB hotspot plan to 12GB, and was told no. Apparently this promo does not apply if you need to sync e-mail with an exchange server, requiring “corporate e-mail service.”

Yes, but instead of calling, I went through the online agent when I was logged in to my online account…my primary line has unlimited data plan and my secondary line has an ahem…the icrap4s which is my daughters line and the one with the tiered $30 2GB plan (3g). They said the promo was only for 4g devices but that they would be able to compensate me by switching my daughters line to the unlimited data plan for $29.99…I waited about an hour then checked my account again and her line is now unlimited like mine

I’ve never had a problem with VZWs customer service..they’ve ALWAYS bent over backwards for me. Early upgrades, no hassle phone replacements, discounts on my plans. I’ve been with them for the last 10 years, I’m not going anywhere anytime soon.
