Verizon’s “Twice the Data” Promo is Live, Time To Double Up That Tiered Plan

If you signed up for a Verizon smartphone phone plan in the middle of July, then you likely missed out on the opportunity to lock into unlimited data and were stuck with one of their newly introduced tiers of 2GB, 5GB and 10GB. To help ease your hurt, Big Red has offered up a limited time only promo that will allow you to double your data plan to 4GB, 10GB and 20GB without paying anything extra.

New customers can choose the package they want during purchase – current customers on tiers may have to call into customer service directly to make the change if they aren’t seeing the promo listed through My Verizon. And if they tell you that you can’t adjust your plan, they are wrong. We have seen the training documents and they clearly state that “all customer types” are eligible for this promo.
