I do agree with you. I like sense, but I feel that skin consume more battery than other skins. HTC does not help much by putting those small battery in it. I like the build quality of htc better than samsung. Also, I love the display and new lens and sensors. HTC needs to put new gpu and change the designs a little bit. The rezound with a bigger battery it could be a winner. I like that htc added the 1g ddr2 ram in the rezound. Verizon will have a lot of choices by mid November

LOL Everyone seems to think that but in fact its not true, the EVO is soon to be 2 years old next Summer, when it comes to smartphones, tech advances faster than computers are now, and the EVO was surpassed when the DROID X2, Atrix, Bionic and EVO 3D came out

The ThunderBolt is better than the EVO spec wise, but like the EVO with its Wimax problems its pretty much on level ground minus the better specs in Tbolt.

Revolution and Charge have the same specs pretty much, Verizon just gave a little variety to launch the LTE network. Droid 3 changes it up with some new design and better specs with the dual core
then Bionic takes away that D3 keyboard and gives it LTE.
So pretty much any flagship phone is better than the EVO. The EVO started the 4.3″ screen boom but thats pretty much it

It seems they focus on design, style and features. You can’t drop a big battery into a design using above average quality materials, and still focus on style and features, atleast thats what i gather from there designs. It could very well be that Sense might just eat battery more than a non-skinned UI, or it could be the fact the batteries aren’t as good as higher quality ones.

If you look at the complaints on there facebook page and twitter, its nearly 80% of the time about the battery not being good enough, all other complaints are pretty low.

They might take advantage of the fact that most users only need to use a smartphone for a few hours a day, not 12-14+ hours straight, so the account for the fact that most users will just plug in there phone when they get home or in the car for use and are accustomed to plugging in said devices when not in use.

Those are my theories anyway, but I have always loved HTC hardware since my TouchPro 2, the Rezound (if I decide to get it and keep it) would be my fourth HTC device and sixth smartphone

Maybe I do lol i just don’t feel like risking having to pay for another device that broke in my pocket when cell phones today are becoming more fragile with the more screen they get, regardless of how good the glass or digitizer might be to pressure. You can never be to cautious when it comes to that kind of awareness
