DROID Bionic Will Drop to $249 Starting Tomorrow, Same Day as the RAZR Pre-order

by: | posted 10.26.11 | Deals, News

If for some reason you had planned to pick up a DROID Bionic instead of the Galaxy Nexus, DROID RAZR or HTC Rezound, then you will be pleased to learn that the price of it will drop by $50 tomorrow to $249 on contract (according to Verizon’s newest MAP list). Makes sense though, right? With the RAZR going on pre-order tomorrow morning for $299, Big Red would be silly to leave its older and thicker brother at the same price point.

Verizon Confirms Galaxy Nexus Exclusive Deal

by: | posted 10.26.11 | News

I’d say that pretty much confirms that rumor. According to Verizon’s own website, the Galaxy Nexus will indeed be exclusive to them for a least a little while. “Exclusive” meaning, the exclusive carrier here in the states of course. Folks on T-Mobile, looks like it could be a bit before you get an HSPA version.

The wait is over. Kejar and JRummy have finally released Liberty ROM to the public for both the DROID3 and DROID Bionic. As is customary with their ROMs, you get a mostly Blur-free UI, “from source” built apps, snazzy yellow and black theme (@davekover), and a whole bunch of customizable settings to really make this your own. Their work has always been some of our favorite here at DL and wanted to share with those of you who may not be familiar yet.
