I see. However, beyond ~250 PPI, I would say, even someone with the best of eyesight would be hard pressed to notice a difference. That’s assuming both panels are the same type of display of course.

my point was that it is silly for phone screen sizes so we’re in agreement there.

still, screen size is immaterial to the logic. the calculations are based on physics and physiology so it should be perceptible, but not dramatic.

Root is not necessary anymore. The new devices come pretty fast and with a lot of memory.

I’ve done the rooting and changing kernels thing. I changed ROMs many times with my OG Droid, and grew a little bored with it. I like having root for the prospect of wireless tether, but since GB detects when you have a wireless tether app running, there’s no big need for root for me. I really liked the demo of ICS and it does compel me towards the GNexus.

This device has been one of the best in a long time. I put the evo, droid x and the bionic, photon and atrix 1 and 2 of being one of the best to this date.

I do agree. The bionic needed the razor display, better build quality on the back of the phone and better shutter speed. Those are the only thing i do not like about my bionic, the rest is good.
