Frustrating that the first 4G LTE phone on Verizon with QWERTY is so…. lackluster. Even for “free” right now on Newegg’s wireless store I still can’t talk myself into finally upgrading from my Droid 1 due to the lack of RAM and lack of HDMI on this. Sad.

I will say however that rooting this doesn’t look that hard really.

I have a Droid Charge and it is pretty bad. No Gingerbread, Fail, knew that when I bought it. Selling it and putting the money towards the Nexus. No more update nightmares.

Well damn I say, this Stratosphere is a fine specimen for the $! I checked it out the other day and the screen is beautiful and overall nice looking for a slider…4G speed test wow, very fast. Think it’ll be good for a person’s first smartphone, like my dad.

Samsung lets a lot of junky phones out their door. I don’t think they even have a Quality Control department. Its also slow because of the outdated processor and poor memory management.

I had this phone for 4 hours before I returned it. It was locking up and freezing doing just about anything (search online, someone posted a video). Makes me question the Nexus. Samsung should have never let this thing out the door. They must have really really back QC dept.

This is a solid phone, but could be better if it had dual-core. Either way, G-Nex trumps it and will see updates because its a Nexus and not a Touch-Wiz

I would absolutely buy this device in a heartbeat if it had a dual-core processor, 1gb of ram and the newer SUPER AMOLED+ screen.

Yup, Samsung has a really bad rep (deserved though) for not updating their devices. When they do, you tend to get stuff like the problem with the Fascinate and missed calls/sms messages.
