Wow. Did I say I’ve
been to every game stop? Not quite. Weird and sad? If playing in a band that
affords one to tour various parts of the country is weird and sad, so be it.
(It’s nice to have some sort of portable gaming system while you’re out for the
long drives, stuck in a van with smelly dudes.) You are in the minority here

Really? you have been to every gamestop in the country? Thats weird and kinda sad. Well every employee in every gamestop I’ve ever been to are always friendly and very helpful. Maybe its you thats not friendly. and just an idiot that doesn’t know what questions to ask to make the employee more helpful?

nope. It should be new when you buy it new. and the same as every other tablet but with different features. Maybe you are thinking of a different tablet. I;m sure you are because everything found at gamestop is the same quality as every other game store in the country. Except the used games that are all marked “used”.

Gamestop’s been paying attention to the e-reader market. One of these days, the consoles are going to go to straight download, cutting Gamestop out of the market completely. Gonna need to have some kind of their own delivery mechanism to survive after that.

This is good news. I might actually buy this if its not too expensive and offers the same if not more features then the other tablets. including honeycombb or better. Because now that gamestop will be making tablets maybe console game developers like Rockstar and EA Sports and some of the other popular ones will start making android games like Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, a much better quality version of Madden then whats on android now, need for speed, and a baseball game. And w/e else is popular. As long as it has touch screen controls for those who dont want to use the wireless controller.

make that 2 good stores? actually 6 good stores. Because I’ve been to 5 gamestops in my area and never had a single problem with anything about the store. so like he said “thats just your blasted opinion”. and theres really no reason to continue this. You are just unlucky to live near a bad gamestop. I suggest moving if its that big of a deal.

Gamestop is not bad it offers the wide veritety of used games and any gamer out there has bout a used game atleast once. I would buy most of my games there othere than the fact that I get a gift card every time I get a new game at Best Buy atleast 10-20 dollars not bad after dropping close to 70. So with that said gamestop is great for all things used but I like the best buy reward program a little too much. As for this tablet if I can throw gears or mw3 on there and battle my xbox live buddies I think I know my next tablet.

The rumor is that it’s going to have it’s own integrated gamepad. Which could be interesting. I may be interested if it does. Root+Gamepad+Emulators = happiness.

So glad my only tablet investment so far is a Nook Color on Cyanogenmod. (although it’s got a hairline crack in it…)

Nobody = you and a handful of others.

Not everyone has the same opinion as you just like not everyone has the same opinion as I, but the majority of the world shops at GameStop, which is obviously why they are still in business. I honestly have never once REALLY had a bad experience at any GameStop before where it would completely change my mind/opinion/overall view about them.

They must have really screwed you guys over to make you never want to shop at any of ‘em again.

Also, Andrew, I’m 29, don’t call me a kid…kid.

But seriously, GameStop is not as bad as you people are making ‘em out to be.

I’ve been to many GameStops, as well, and sure, some are not so great, but the majority are pretty damn respectful, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

I’ve stuck around at a few GameStops(like when I stop at one on the way home from work) for awhile just talking about video games with the employees when it’s sorta slow.

So yeah, everyone has bad experiences with everything in life, but just because one thing is bad doesn’t mean the same thing is also bad. Get over it.

woow i'm still astonished ,I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37" HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use BidsBug.com
