I’ve been waiting on a major update of the official Tumblr app for quite some time. The last time I used the app was months ago and I couldn’t stand it. I downloaded a third-party Tumblr app called My Tumblr Free(I think) and it seems to work, although there are a few crashes here and there.

Before that though and for awhile, I’ve been using the mobile web version of Tumblr because it seemed a lot better, quicker, and no crashes, etc.

But finally, this major overhaul of the Tumblr app is just what I’ve needed for my daily Tumblr activities…and the best part is, the app now actually works!

I still feel like it’s nothing more than a shell for the mobile site. Yes, the updated UI is nice and all but I still feel that MyTumblr is a much better app.
