DROID Bionic and XOOM 4G LTE Receive Accessory Landing Pages

One of our readers was digging around Verizon’s site this morning and noticed that both the DROID Bionic and Motorola XOOM 4G LTE have their own accessory landing pages set up.  Neither page will show you actual accessories, but is a good sign that we could see this new LTE XOOM before long.  With the LTE upgrade set to happen some time in September, we would guess that this version will be here around that same time.  Probably wouldn’t be wise for Moto to release a version with LTE before the early adopters and their 3G version ever see it.

Oh, and the Bionic was also included, but we know that it will be available some time around September 8 (still a rumor).

Cheers Tyler!

wait until release, go hands on with devices (or if you want compare official specs) and come to a conclusion.. most of what you’ve mentioned is still either vaporware or doesnt have a release date.. i’d say patience is key :)

Incorrect listing. It says here the Xoom 4G LTE, but that’s a lie. It’s only 3G. I’ve had one since February, I would know.

        No, that’s the Bionic date.

Reading – top to bottom, left to right. Try it.

The Xoom was released in February as the First* 4G LTE Tablet

You would know huh? These aragont people annoy the crap out of me. You just implied you would know better than the person who wrote the article, Kellex. KELLEX of all people! No, as the article says, the Xoom is only 3g at the moment, but will be upgraded to 4g soon. I own one and I believe Kellex does too, we know it is 3g for right now.

The Xoom is a 3G tablet. Motorola has never said (since the initial lie) that it will be upgradable to 4G. Those commercials have all been pulled. These are the facts.

Just saw a XOOM 4g up-gradable commercial yesterday. Your facts are wrong

I think you still mid the point. There is a brand new xoom tablet getting ready to be released, that is 4g capable out of the box. Completely unrelated to the current 3g xoom we all own.

And they sent out emails two weeks ago letting users know about the 4g upgrade to current xooms starting in september.

Just accept your foot’s in your mouth on this one and move on.

I know. I thought people that read this blog were smart.

Grats on not reading the article before commenting.  You missed a very important sentence.

“ With the LTE upgrade set to happen some time in September, we would guess that this version will be here around that same time. ”

Now with the sentence that you obviously didn’t read there are 2 very important points.

      1)  With the LTE upgrade set to happen some time in September,
Here Kellex acknowledges that the Xoom is not 4g yet, provides the general date of when the Xoom will be 4g and links to the article where the announcement was made.

      2)  we would guess that this version will be here around that same time. ”
This is an assumption that a full 4g version will be sold separately once the upgrade is provided to the early adopters. The accessory page is already up for the new version of the Xoom with the 4g antenna already installed.

I rest my case of the previous “I thought people that read this blog were smart” comment. This proves my theory.
