I paid $23.88 for an i Pad 2 32-GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumiix GF 1 Camera that we got for $ 38.41 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $ 635 which only cost me $ 61.74 to buy. The 17th may be the first day of a “pre-order” event for some unknown phone and the 22nd would be the last day. Those would be the days that would see the biggest rush as customer try to get in first and other scramble to get in before the pre-order closes. Guess we find out when the next tidbit is leaked from someone inside BB.

your job is to make them money. obviously management doesn’t like you if you don’t do that. only stupid people shop at best buy, and i personally have no problem ripping off stupid people.

^^^Exactly. I work in retail and in my experience, they (managers) hate the “smart people” who know better than to push unnecessary products and worthless service plans. I provide outstanding customer service, all my customers are very pleased with me and will seek me out time after time… because I am knowledgeable and HONEST with them… but I don’t make good “sales numbers”.

Oh well…. at least it’s not my career.

I worked there for almost 2 years…a majority of the people are dumb there, but not all

they actually opened up a customer assistant position at one point where there were 5-6 of us per store that knew all the departments well enough that if someone had a question on anything in the store, we had the answer

and I refused to sell service plans…they are stupid
