Would this work if you can no longer plug in your laptop to an outlet (because the area where it connects has broken off?)?

It is a waste of money until the moment you have to have a phone and broke the charging port on your phone. Then you just think of how lucky you are to have one lol. I had that happen to me and it has been kind of nice to just set it on the pad. Still waiting for my replacement ‘Bolt.

The wireless charging is not even possible for the practicle usage because the distance issues.

Scientists have also developed the new scheme called “capacitive charging” to achieve a medium range wireless charging facility.

I’d buy that for my TBolt if it also supported an extended battery. It’ll save me some hassle when docking my phone and plugging in the charger.

i’d just assume wait in line at mcdonalds for a dollar pop, when i can go to the gas station and buy the same size pop for 69cents…than i would be to pay 100 dollars to just not have to plug in a wire

I’ll stick with a desk dock, thanks. They’re cheaper, smaller, and more functional – and I can just as easily put my phone down in the dock as I can put it down on a pad. When they find a way to wirelessly charge my phone while it’s in the holster, I’ll definitely reconsider.
