Have this on my rooted droid and didnt even install my setcpu and this thing is fast and smooth as hell. Better life is ok if u turn off your features, BUT my camcorder plays back all choppy n stuff. Anyone else have this problem, and if so, how would i fix that? Thanks ahead.

And also when i get an incoming call it doesn’t ring long at all on my end. About once or twice for the most part but to the caller its ringing about 4-5 times before it rings on my end.

Help anyone? Everyone is saying this is the best ROM for the OG Droid and i do like it for the most part but at times it can be a bit annoying. Closing out of apps and not responding to certain actions. And it WILL NOT sync to my Facebook account at all. Any suggestions?

Absolutely the best OG experience I’ve ever had. Ever. Highly recommended over every other ROM out there. Everything is lightning fast and I have the features that matter. This will tie me over until my upgrade comes through and I can get my hands on the D3.

can someone find out if you can change songs with volume keys with this rom? Only feature I extremely need and that holds me to cyanogen…Thanks

is there a way to keep certain apps from closing due to memory management (similar to “ignore” from taskiller) in elite settings? i don’t use taskiller but have noticed that the phone will routinely kill swipepad and want to keep that from closing if at all possible

Incredible, I have tried about 4 other roms for my OG and this by far surpasses all of them. The battery life is better, and it really is smooth as butter. Doesn’t have the 3G data issue that 3 of the other roms I tried had that they said they fixed. I did have to throttle down the cpu a little due to the battery getting a little too warm for my taste (didn’t want to melt the butter). Everything is so much more responsive thanks for all the hard work put into it!

Lets talk quadrant. How does P.E compare to Peter Alfonso latest build 2.3.5 / GRJ90. I think Peter rocks but always willing to try something else?

Right there with you. I’m impressed. GPA16 was smooth, but my phone ended up having some nasty side-effects (wouldn’t stop ringing even after I picked up a call, heated up like crazy, etc.) PE isn’t giving me any of that. AND I like that it comes with a decent kernel out of the box. Slickness.

my phone just keeps running the bootloader animations after i tried installing this…..please help noobie…..it just shows the droid eye then says droid like its loading then droid eye again..and so on so on! any tips?
