maybe what you should have gotten from my in depth post, is how tiring it is that FOX and others, take every little thing and spin it and make into a BIG deal. kinda like how this one blind quadriplegic midget responded to a two line post i made. +1 plucking

I currently don’t have a smartphone so could i go tomorrow and purchase one(and the unlimited plan) and still be grandfathered into the unlimited data for $30/month?

Having just had a pretty long conversation with a seemingly knowledgeable Verizon rep, here is what they told me: If you have a month-to-month “unlimited” plan now (regular or blackberry) you can upgrade to one of the current 4G phones after the 7th and remain on an unlimited plan. HOWEVER, upgrading is based on the current selection of phones they have now. If you are month-to-month and wish to renew your contract when a new phone comes out, there will be no guarantee that you can upgrade to that new phone and remain on an unlimited plan. It was stressed to me that the Charge was probably the best bet (unless you buy a newer phone for full price after renewing).
