Qello Introduces HD Concerts to Your Android Tablet

If you’re as big of a music buff as we are here, then you’ll be loving this new app for your Android tablet. Qello brings a huge list of HD concerts straight to your device, and the selection is actually pretty legit. Everything from The Doors, to Dr. Dre, and Billy Idol. Installation from the Market is free, and most rentals are about $5, but for that price you get 30 days to watch your shows. Not bad, right?

My wife and i were really delighted Edward could complete his investigations because of the ideas he got while using the web page. It’s not at all simplistic to simply always be offering steps which usually other people have been trying to sell. We really do know we’ve got the blog owner to appreciate for this. All of the illustrations you’ve made, the easy site navigation, the friendships you will help engender – it’s got everything exceptional, and it’s making our son in addition to our family reason why this content is thrilling, which is certainly exceptionally essential. Many thanks for all!

I have to show some thanks to you for bailing me out of such a difficulty. Because of searching through the internet and meeting concepts which were not pleasant, I assumed my life was gone. Existing without the approaches to the issues you have fixed by means of your entire report is a crucial case, and the ones that could have badly damaged my entire career if I had not encountered the blog. The talents and kindness in controlling every aspect was helpful. I don’t know what I would have done if I had not discovered such a solution like this. I am able to now look ahead to my future. Thanks for your time very much for the professional and result oriented help. I won’t think twice to suggest your blog to anyone who desires recommendations about this situation.

you can preview concerts before you make a purchase too…its a really nice app and there is no need to hate on it because you need to’spend money….android fans get so butthurt if the app isnt exactly the way they want it…fact is this app is designed really well and looks great so why not grade on how the app performs its job instead of whining about money…nuff said

The app may look great and work great, but if it’s going to cost more to use in a month than my HBO subscriptions does (assuming you rent one video a week) it’d better wash mycar for me, too.
Pricing is a legitimate concern, especially mobile apps, and moreso RENTALS of third-party content.

I’ll watch shitty quality youtube videos of live bands for free, thanks. :]

My biggest concern is why the tablet version needs access to system log information (not a requirement for the non-tablet version.) Well, that and the Market link to the developers’ website is to http:// i.e. nowhere at all.
My other concern is the rental price – for most music that I’d want to pay to watch a video, I’d rather have the full concert DVD or BluRay. I think a $2 or so rental price would be much more in line.

i can’t find incubus :-( they need more selection

I think it’d be better if it would cost $5 to keep the HD concert on the Xoom.  Or in your ‘collection’ of concerts only viewable through their system.  If you’d like for offline viewing, it would stay on your tablet for up to 30 days and then be removed.  Otherwise you could access it anytime online through their ‘cloud’.

    Billy Idol topless… He’s 55 you know!

    • http://www.droid-life.com Tim-o-tato

So what? I figured he is at least 30! :P

      • Mr.Joe

No he’s 55.  Alice Cooper is like 63.  Who wants to see him topless?

Its a concert. Musicians get hot. Who cares? No need to make a fuss about it.

Who’s making a fuss about it?

          /facepalm

          • Mr.Joe

            I’m no musician sir.  So I don’t understand your humor ^_^;;

Pretty cool idea. I bet this will struggle because Android users are generally cheap.

    • http://steamcommunity.com/id/cypherx82 cypherx82

      Why do people say this?

      • Anonymous

People who say this about about Android users are generally the cheap Android users.

I for one don’t like the idea, but that doesn’t mean I’m cheap. I’ve spent my fair share x10 on good apps.

        • http://steamcommunity.com/id/cypherx82 cypherx82

Same here. I’m actually a cheap bastard when it comes to anything but tech and have bought many things off the market.

What intrigues me is that people say Android users don’t but anything, yet piracy is more prevalent on iOS while it’s actually easier to do on Android.

I’m not saying everyone that uses Android is, it’s just the majority will not pay for apps. It’s a fact, and it’s part of the reason Android struggles to get big name developers.
