mtkregs… It sounds like you have been googling “bing” LOL. Ads are generated from cookies on your computer. Go look at chainsaws from harbor freight and then come back and see adds for table saws and hammers, etc.

I have this, and I love it! The Snapdragon is actually dual-core, and LG-specific apps work well. Except FB for LG. I promptly downed the actual FB app! Auto screen brightness is seamless and saves a lot of battery, especially if your a night person. Batt needs to be a little heaftier, but no worries. HDMI is super sweet. Netflix takes a minute to load, but streaming is perfect, though only slightly choppy on HD content. All in all, great little device. I recommend Quick USB Tethering app to bypass built in lock, for those without root. Still no way to tether wifi yet, but soon.

i’ve not used it on the mobile platform, but on computers microsoft installs things on your computer that you do not agree to them installing when you use bing, just like apple and their safari

it’s no different than T-mobile logging Google in on my HTC HD7
that i used to have even though it’s a WINDOWS PHONE.

Bing is not that bad and actually better than Google Search to me.
It’s just a part of a “Fad” like someone stated earlier
that is hating anything that is not google(like apple fanboys) who sees to hate
anything that is not apple….which is funny when Apple/Android users argue
because they are just the same)

Not a big deal nor a dealbreaker but some do tend to make big deals
out of small situaitons
