The Droid X2 is the successor to one of Verizon’s most popular smartphones. It has a lot to live up to, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver on many key categories. More here: http://wp.me/p1wchx-7f

What’s up with this top picture?  Is this woman trying to do the “death grip” from the Apple videos?  Who holds their phone this way?

If you want the X2 guide, you might as well just watch the original X’s.

Since they are the exact same thing.

Wow this is like the D2 senerio…..think I’ll wait for the D3, Bionic or DX3.  This thing is like using a condom…..looks good…..feels ok……gets my rocks off ……….but it really could be better.

think there is going to be a way to get mirror mode to work on the dx?

  • Anonymous

so is it x squared? she never says it. I am just wondering, the logo looks like squared but it could be either way…

If this phone was on 4g I would get it. Of course they would have to add another $100 onto the price of it.

  • Onelowchef

ordered mine a few hours ago…be here tomorrow….for me coming from og droid this is a great phone….4g aint ready in my area and probably not for a while….

    • Binglut9

I agree this phone will be good

  • http://profiles.google.com/potentialender james netzer

Looks like a damn good phone to me. Will be a huge upgrade from Original Droid.

Why are you complaining about no front facing camera? Are you that infatuated with yourself? (just kidding) But seriously, I’d rather talk on the phone than video chat.

4G? It isn’t available everywhere, and it’s a huge battery drain. I doubt I’ll have 4g available in my area for another 5 years.

    • Binglut9

Agree ffc is not a big deal I have one now don’t use…I just use my xoom

    • Fakerjs

5 Years? VZW has commented to having their entire current 3G network running 4G by the end of 2012.

  • Rhsavel

     I just ordered mine!!!

Does anybody think they will allow us DroidX users have mirror mode? Or is that only because the dx2 has a dual-core processor?

    • Noah

       I second this question

      • Binglut9

No droid x won’t. Not sure of why but I think its hardware related

        • Anonymous

It’s most certainly hardware related, hence the reason I’m slightly jealous of the DX2, though I’ve loved my DX since I picked it up on launch.

While RealHDMI has been a godsend, it leaves much to be desired that the mirroring capabilities of the DX2 seem to pull off flawlessly.

          • http://twitter.com/sonicemerald Micah Gemmell

well, that’s disappointing… I’ll have to wait for a DX3 before I can get that capability… I’ve wanted to buy realHDMI, but I just haven’t gotten around to it…

  • Ddealba85

dual core processor.. but no front facing camera.. im waiting for that combination on verizon…

  • Dshudson

why would anyone buy a dx2.. it’s like going backwards.. useless device. no 4g as well.

    • http://twitter.com/BrownDanielUSN Daniel Brown

Dual core phone if they live in BFE and don’t have LTE coming in a long time.  Not my cup of tea, but I do see why someone would get it.  I have a Dx and love it, waiting for a dual core LTE device since I live in New Orleans.

      mad true brah

  • EC8CH

A vid from Moto on How to Unlock the Bootloader… now that would get some views.

  • Forgeeking

not 4g, not worth it, way to ruin what could have been a great phone motorola…..

    • NotRelevent

Not everyone has so called “4G” service. So no motorola didn’t ruin anything.

      • Forgeeking

        motorola ruined ur mom

        • Tundaboat

          wow… very original.

          • Anonymous
