Amazon announced yesterday, a new way to exchange your Phones, Tablets, MP3 Players, Cameras, and other unused tech gear for new goodies through their Trade-In Program. By going to the Amazon site, simply find your devices and select “Trade in.” From there, print out the prepaid mailing slip, slap it on a box and send your device off. Profit. After it has been received and thoroughly inspected, an Amazon.com gift card will be deposited into your account within 48 hours.
Now from searching for a bit, there is actually only one “DROID” branded device they are now accepting and that’s the DROID Incredible 2. But they’re definitely accepting almost all of the Android Tablets I’ve ever heard of including the XOOM and Galaxy Tab.
