Limited Edition Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Unboxing – Google I/O 2011

As you may have heard, all attendees at this year’s Google I/O received a limited edition Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and we decided to unbox it real quick for you! Unboxings may not be the most entertaining things on the planet, but there are only 5-6,000 of these in the wild and you likely won’t see it in stores. So this may be the only chance you have of seeing one. And damn am I impressed with it so far.

I don’t know why, but every time he slid those tablets on their screens against the table my ass puckered a little. Damn thing looks like an iPad, and for obvious reasons. Oh well, stickin’ to Mr. Xoom until something better comes along.

Does anyone know if the Galaxy Tab 10.1 that was given out is running Tegra 2 or the Exynos SoC?

Have you had a chance to play around with it yet? How does it compare to the XOOM?

You mentioned in the video that it was stock Android but I thought it came with some skin over it? Did they change that or do the special editions not have it?

Another tab from Samsung? no thanks, people are just drooling cause its the newest. remeber everyone samsung doesnt update their stuff and their UI mods are garbage. enjoy honeycomb 3.1 while the rest of the world is on 4.0 or whatever.

It will be coming a lot sooner than you will ever see 4G on the tab 10.1. Sorry and i don’t usually respond to such ignorant posts but it is obvious you have never used the Xoom in your stupid comment when we all know the tab won’t ever be 4G enabled plus (from what I have seen) it has no SD card support, runs pretty much the same hardware as the Xoom, and most of all it is made by samsung which by the way put a skin on it. The reason I bought the Xoom is it WILL get 4G, DOES have SD card slot (still waiting on that which is really ridiculous if you ask me), and as evident from today GETS updated on day one. That too me is a lot more attractive than a tablet made by samsung that has the exact same specs as the Xoom. If this wqw made by HTC then I would be thinking differently but nothing made by samsung makes me wish I waited on my purchase of the Motorola Xoom

He never said you said that. He was just pointing out that even though the XOOM doesn’t have 4G yet. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will never have it.

I wasn’t saying that I was just letting you know (since you decided to make an ignorant comment) that you probably shiuldnt say something like, “hows your 4G” on the Xoom because the tab will never get it. You should probably bring up something the tab will have that the Xoom won’t when attempting to down another product, right? I cant believe I had spell that out to you and that is the sole reason I don’t comment on posts like yours. Have a good day.
