I would like to express my thanks to you just for bailing me out of this particular predicament. Just after exploring throughout the internet and finding basics which were not productive, I assumed my life was done. Living minus the solutions to the difficulties you've sorted out through your write-up is a serious case, as well as the ones which could have badly affected my career if I had not discovered your site. Your actual expertise and kindness in touching every item was invaluable. I'm not sure what I would've done if I had not discovered such a solution like this. I can at this moment relish my future. Thanks very much for your expert and sensible guide. I won't think twice to recommend the blog to anybody who ought to have guidance about this subject.

I switched to ADW EX ever since Launcher Pro Plus almost killed my phone due to Fede's implementation of an expiration date on the app. I and hundreds others had no access to our homescreens until we got a notification that allowed us to open up the market and uninstalled LPP... I bought ADW Ex soon after and never looked back.

Inquizitor, I don't get your fanboism. Both launchers are good, and are a matter of preference. It would be one thing if LPP was superior, but that just isn't the case. It's good, but ADW does some things better, like transitions, the 4D app drawer, and speed. Comparing ADW, free, to LPP is also not fair since one is free and the other is paid. To be fair, you have to compare LPP with ADW Ex, and there they are almost identical. LPP does have widgets, which is great for those that use them. I've never really felt comfortable with all the permissions that LPP asks for off the bat, even on the free version. At least ADW limits them to stuff that I use, and if you want further functionality, you can also install ADW notifier, but the dev leaves that up to you. In any case, if acting like an ass makes you feel good, more power to you.

You are the exact type of person that are the laughing stock of twitter, the market comments, and irc channels. An app icon? One that you never see right? How about the trash can that is hastily implemented? Done is such a way that you can drag and drop icons on and off the dock without having to go through a hundred and one menus. Those different options for color schemes? The exact things that allows you to change the look in ways other launchers can't. Size and speeds. both things that allow you to customize the launcher to YOUR liking. Something that you seem to fail to grasp. These options are far from clunky and ugly. The edit screen, for both the screens themselves and each individual icon or widget. App drawer catalogs. Full launcher themes, not just your precious widgets. Multiple app drawer options. Thanks for the laugh and something to rant about.
