DROID Incredible 2 Available Now through Verizon, Casio G’z0ne Too

As they always do at midnight EST and 9PM Pacific on the eve of a new phone launch, Verizon has updated their site to include the DROID Incredible 2 and Casio G’z0ne which are both available in stores tomorrow.  If you won’t have time to cruise into one though, you can order them online right now and receive free overnight shipping.  And yep, there is that lovely $439 full retail price we saw yesterday.

Buy.

Still undecided on this new Incredible?  Check out our early coverage below:

And we should point out that the DROID Charge is not available as it should have been, but we aren’t surprised as  we first reported its delay about an hour ago.

Cheers Nick and KLY412!

ok picked one up today! I simply got tired of waiting for something better. The only feature in my eyes that is missing is 4G. I got to thinking, do I really need the download speeds? Im usually at home on WiFi when I do most of my downloading. So for me, it was a great choice over the Thunderbolt.. which is awesome, but is horrible on battery life. I’m happy with my choice, but have to say it is a bit of a learning curve for me using a phone with HTC sense. I don’t hate it, but miss stock android. My biggest complaint is all the bloatware installed on it. It’s my phone, please let me decide what apps I want and use.
If you don’t think 4G is a huge deal or dual core processors this is a really nice device.

the learning process is what makes it fun =p

Just held it at the verizon store and am sold. I’m gettin it when my upgrade is available which will be in like 3 weeks

  • Commando

i actually like the commando. my kinda tough phone. can someone please root it right it away tho? not sure i dig the custom interface… but since i’m no developer, i’m sure i’ll take it the way it is :D

its not a bad looking phone. def slower than the new stuff out here and from unbox vid i’ve seen it has bing instead of google. just another reason to root. i’m hard on phones but i love android so i think i’ll be giving this a shot.

how/why do some of you people keep buying new phones every time something new comes out? these things are WAY to expensive to collect. It seems like there’s a new one every other month now! I’m happy with my droid x which is good, because I’m going to have it for at least another year.

I buy every device (thats worthy) the day it comes out.. just got the incredible 2 for my mom who is using D1, I have TB and Xoom, I had the DX but.. why on earth would I not want 4g when I live and work in a 4g area.. so I got the TB.. I like selling my used equipment to users of BB or i*hone.. And they they never go back

For those of you wondering, Amazon has a great deal for upgrades (149.99) and for new customers (99.99). Booyah!!

Can you buy these without adding a line to your account?

    • http://twitter.com/tarund TarunD

Yup, but you must buy at Full Retail price and at a store.

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=649257134 John Hance

Yeah I just talked to a rep. You can only do that in a store which is disappointing :( I have to work until midnight and all day tomorrow so I can’t get one until the weekend.

        • http://twitter.com/tarund TarunD

You can buy online, too and pay the full price. You would go through the upgrade process but you can chose Month-to-Month option rather then 2 year contract. You can have it by tomorrow. And an FYI, they do have a 2150mAh Extended Battery w/Cover but it’s Out of Stock already, which is weird.

I’m tempted to upgrade to the Inc2 from my DX. Thinking about ordering it this morning so it’ll be here before the weekend. I’m worried about not liking it though…the DX is hard to beat.

Just went into my verizon store here in Westminster md and they Had the CHARGE and the INCREDIBLE 2 on display but both were turned off and had a coming soon sticker next to them. The commando one wasnt even on display and the manager told me that the launch was delayed, I asked if it was because of the 4g lte outtage and he said “I Dont Know” (Standard Verizon Rep Response) Also just as a sidenote….i turned on the Charge which has a pretty neat twist to the original DROID eye boot animation but also if the charge doesnt have a sim in it the phone will not let you use it ,Things Like setting up accounts and jus browsing around the phone and such.

    • loyal vz customer

interesting– mine says 199 and with the ne2 when logged in online, 144. can we get more pricing from the super early adopters (in store and web)?

I selected phone only on Amazon and they’re charging $489 and saying that’s discounted from $599! Is that normal for them?

    I’ll pay that retail price!!!!

    Quick question ?
Is it still 30 dlrs for unlimited data?

    • Anonymous

Yes. VZW does place a few restrictions in the fine print against things like bittorrent and tethering, but I have used the unlimited $30 plan on my phones for several years and go over 5GB routinely no problem. Note that tethering, laptop and tablet data plans do have a cap.
