^^^ im pretty sure you didnt read. On most websites now you will just find statements like “if you dont know what you are doing, dont mess with it.” Isnt that what this kind of a website is for? How will the newbies ever know anything if all they get is this bs.

I got another issue to with my epic droid.. for some reason when I connect the usb cord and connect to my puter… the phone says it is connected, I hit use as storage and the computer senses it is connnected but I can’t access the card by explorer. I am very familiar with doing this and had done the same before but no good now.. also if I take the sd card and put it in the adapter card and into my computer it doesnt see it either…?????

My gf droids went into a like overload flash thing when she put it into video camera mode. Why was that and can u tell me how to fix it completely?

I did this update when this post first showed up, and i was pretty confident i could just sbf to 2.3.340 so i could get the official update. But, now that i try to sbf, I get this message, “Critical error B655 EDDC” It stays like that for about a minute then my phone reboots and works like normal. Any ideas what i could do to fix this?

Do you think I can use this to upgrade my DX to Gingerbread even after the most recent official update? Been trying to get Gingerbread through OTA, but am without any luck & growing impatient now. But, don’t want to use this version (probably outdated now) and brick my phone. Any advice DL community?

HELP!! I got the Gingerbread update without deactivating my launcher
pro. My phone loads to the home screen, but any time i try to do
anything (open the app drawer, edit settings, etc) I get the error
message where I can either wait or force close. My phone is essentially
useless right now. Who else is having this problem?!

You’d be better off SBF’ing. You can try to backup and unroot, but it’ll be easier if you SBF the little guy. It’s just the humane thing to do.
