If the Dinc isn’t receiving gingerbread for what ever reason there might be. Then why does HTC or VZW not trek the Droid Incredible owners? Do they think it’s bcoz the Dinc owners will ban together & go on a killing spree or because they may lose customers? I don’t understand why all the secrecy as to if we get it or not. I just want to know if we are bcoz I’m not sure if I’ll go with another HTC phone again if we don’t get it. I’m not asking for an exact date just a yes or no. The Droid X is starting to get theres today. & the specs of the incredible are on part with the droid x a the evo so there us no reason as to why we shouldn’t get it. Not to mention the awesome developers at xda forums seem to be able to get it working no problem almost to perfection yet HTC nor VZW have the ability to get it out in a timely manor.

What do you mean by bad rap, and DROID brand? All Droid means is that it is an Android OS phone released on Verizon, they use the term under license from LucasFilm, it’s not a brand. The first four phones you listed are by Motorola anyway, both the Droid Eris and the Droid Incredible are made by HTC.

LMAO at the rage for this update. name two things you are getting in GB. ignoring sense 2.0 (if we get it) and the new icon formats/colors what are you waiting for? you will never see the difference.

- easier copy and paste? Sense does a nice job of that and 2.0 is even better
- new GB keyboard? I am betting Sense keyboard will be there instead of the GB default
- new audio framework for gaming? do you write games?
