Been using this over the weekend on my Zoom. I really have not had any trouble with Flash.
Smooth very little lag (only while streaming)
I have to say a lot of complaints about the Zoom are founded only by impatient people. As with my rooted Droid, in time the great developers will come forward with enhancements and apps I can chose and have my Android based technology working as I see fit. Patience all, Honeycomb is great and I await more!

Is this only for the Zoom owners who didn’t have flash? I installed it to my DX and updated from 10.1 to 10.2 but I’m just wondering what the difference is? I haven’t noticed any difference at all. Am I missing something?

Totally rocking Flash 10.2 on my Xoom with Playon. Got Netflix and all my home media streaming anywhere I go thru bluetooth tether on my OG Droid with no lag. Woohoo!!!

    You might need to upgrade to most recent ver. If that doesnt work, try setting it to manual and access your portforward area on your router to accept whatever the port number you want.

    Playon software uses html5, so you can just do it the old way and go in web brower and type in your own ip:port to get access once you hav installed on your home PC

      Just download the playon app…sync which your desktop on wifi and then when you are away it works the same. Alot easier then remembering your home ip address.

I could not get this to work on my DInc, when I open the adobe app it still says 10.1, NOT 10.2

Loaded it this morning with no problems. Was able to play my turn in scrabble on facebook. (hey, don’t judge! ) Hulu told me to go away even though I had the user agent set to desktop. Amazon VOD seemed like it wanted to play but I’m having problems with my account where it seems to think I’m already streaming somewhere else. sigh. In any case, thanks for this! Looking forward to the final build.

  I downloaded the apk then e-mailed it to my google account. In the meantime, I changed the settings on the applications: settings<applications<unknown sources and check the box. Then when the e-mail comes through, you can install it directly from the e-mail.

Main link didn’t work for me popped up parsing error. The mirror did work stragely enough flash wasn’t working for me in dolphin with plugins enabled and always on. It works great in honeycomb stock browser though thanks for leaking been waiting to be able to see the internet as intended…

        rooting is not the same as jailbreaking…well it is but it isn’t….an i*hone user would need to jailbreak just to do lots and lots of things that are achievable from an fresh out of box android phone….rooted users only gain more control and allow us to get things early….an out of box android already has more control and options than a jailbroken i*hone.

  I never enable flash on my droid because it is such a battery hog and laggy – have fun with that – can’t wait to get my hands on an iPhone

    lol you can set it to not auto load flash content unless you press it… and if its super laggy you probably are doing it wrong or have a low end device! have fun with your i*hone. I see it as different people want different things though….I can almost guarantee that the ones who jailbreak their i*hones would pick a good Android device over an i*phone if they were shown both and never heard of either….there are 3 types of apple users 1. those that don’t really understand computers and want something easy to navigate without any real options or ability to upgrade if the users needs change (difference between riding a bike and driving a car….except in this case the bike is 10x more expensive than the car) 2. those that really truly like Apple products (smallest percent). and 3. those that have lots of extra money and want to use an apple because they get to be “Different” and say ohh i use Apple only products not because i like them but I use them as a fashion accessory.

I don’t see any difference in speed for the Atrix… work in progress then? It was a friend’s phone, but they said they noticed nothing. Also tried on Droid 2 Global. MAYBE a small improvement. Maybe.

It doesn’t seem to be hardware accelerated. I tried Hulu and it’s really choppy.
