I'm running project elite rom 5.0.2 with slahyer kernel version 1.6 LV 1.1ghz and it multitasks just fine running power amp in background and playing final fantasy 7 on psx4droid. Psx4droid runs best on my droid with the above settings. I run a lot of apps at work , instead of working lol, but I don't have trouble with PE and the Slahyer kernel. Best gingerbread setup. Only thing I don't like is market download % only shows in notifications not the makret screen itself.

This is the first time I've tried updating my phone, so I'm a total noob. Rooting went easy enough, but when I flashed it with this 2.3.3 ROM then the next time I powered on, I got stuck in an infinite reboot loop (when it showed the red Droid animation, it would pause and reboot).. Had to take out the battery to stop it.

I tried flashing it again, but this time did a total factory reset/data wipe first.. That time worked.. Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone that runs into this problem, just be sure there's nothing important on the phone when messing with this stuff :)

If you're at the "Touch Android to Begin" screen, touch the corners starting in the top left. By screen I mean the black part. If you're under the emergency call button etc. then you've gone too far. Worked for me with 2.2.0. Don't know why it wouldn't still be in there
