It’s my understanding that the Snapdragon processor in the Bolt is faster than the qualqom in the Evo. The question I have is does the dual core make the bionic that much faster?

I’m goin with the thunderbolt. The dual core would be nice but IMO I don’t think the Bionic’s specs are good enough to warrant waiting for it instead of waiting for a dual core better than the Bionic.

I believe BB will still release the phone on the 14th (as my local store has confirmed twice in the past two days) and Verizon will delay selling the phone on their end because they are so swamped with iPhone orders.

What about an updated Google Talk with video chat? *That* would be a real boon, and you’ve already got your Google ID so it would Just Work.

As an aside, does Skype on a phone support conference calls?

I’m going Bionic, but I’d honestly say it depends on how important dual-core CPUs (which will be the future of mobile devices IMO) are to you. If they aren’t, I don’t see much of a reason to get the Bionic over the Thunderbolt.
