The coverage area is a joke for 4 G. It’s absolutely stupid. I bought a Thunderbolt phone last Spring and was assured 4G service in the Kansas City market by June then it was September and who know when. It’s October 1st. Liars and misinformers. There should be some kind of federal penalty since the feds regulate so much of the market with cel companies. I don’t like the government involved in any of it but they already regulate it.

Birmingham doesn,t get 4g because its population is moving to its suburbs making it harder to cover.

Why nothing in VA????? (except Briston TN border and Washing DC border). NOTHING! NC will have 14 major areas shortly and even with projections by END of 2011 still NOTHING in VA!!! What is this all about?????

I know, right? Huntsville before Birmingham? Seriously?
Birmingham is the largest city in Alabama with 242,000 people, followed by Montgomery then Mobile. Huntsville lags in fourth with only 158,000 yet still gets 4G before Birmingham. Makes no sense, VZ.
Even if you want to use Nasa to justify Huntsville, you still could have upgraded us instead of Mobile. Its just full of a bunch of aging snowbirds who wouldn’t know what to do with 4G if it bit ‘em.

This is ridiculous!!! Some of these areas are in the sticks and Norfolk isn’t even a blip on the radar??? This is frustrating. Can we please get a small glimmer of hope it’ll be here soon
