We basically already know everything there is to know about the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but a few more Verizon tidbits couldn’t hurt, right? Click that image for the big boy version and read up on this interestingly priced Android tablet.

Motorola Releases Updated Media Link, Finally Sync Everything with your Android Phone
Motorola has released an update to its Media Link software that includes a ton of new features like syncing of iTunes and Media Player files without having to pull your teeth out. After just a quick 20 minutes of testing, this update appears to have revived the software and might even get some usage from me. I’ve used DoubleTwist in the past and it always stays on my computer for 5 minutes before the frustrations kick in and I have to uninstall it, but this new Media Link looks like it’ll be a keeper.
Oh, this might only work with Motorola devices.
Download it here.
Cheers Jim!
Download: Droid Life Themed LauncherPro
Well thanks to a very nice themer (Signals23) over at XDA, we now have our very own Droid Life version of LauncherPro. We have shown his work here on DL before, but this one deserves some special recognition. Signals23 is responsible for many of the themed versions that you’ve seen of our favorite home replacement app and this will be a great addition to his lineup.
Donate to signals23 here. Please help support him if you can. Without talented people like this, our homescreens would be well, bland. I also would like to thank ardchoille over at LauncherPro forums for the source image I used to produce this dock.
Android Fans Take Down “Best Mobile OS” Poll from WSJ in Classic Rigging Fashion
Over the weekend, the Wall Street Journal started running a poll which asked users “Who makes the best mobile operating system?” and after Apple jumped out to an early lead, the Android posse brought us back to take over the top spot. Then out of no where came Microsoft, who basically over night, managed almost 13,000 votes to take a substantial edge over everyone else. This definitely pissed off some Android faithful who have apparently rigged up a bot or some sort of hack to drop vote after Android vote on the poll.
As you can see from the shot above, the Android numbers are well over 400K and if you refresh the poll page, can see that they aren’t stopping now. Oh Android peeps, I love you so.

Frostwire P2P Sharing App Released for Free or $4.99
We’ve been following Frostwire since its alpha testing days back in June and are excited to see it officially launch today on the Android Market. What is Frostwire? A peer-to-peer application that allows users to share files over the internet with thousands of users or locally with just your friends on a personal network. I hate to bring up the original Napster, but this falls into that category as a file sharing service.
Tip: Search for Android Apps Using Google Mobile Search
Not a big fan of the way the Android Market searches for apps? Then feel free to use regular old Google Search for the task. If you open up google.com from your mobile browser and hit the “more” pull down menu, you will see the option to search for “Android Apps.” Once you find the app you have always dreamed of, like ours, tap on it and you will be redirected straight into the market for installation. Sweet right?
And speaking of Google Search, anyone else seeing “Instant beta” yet? Still nothin’ on my phones.
Cheers EaglesDudeNFL!
DROID Makes Political Debut, Gets Aide Fired
Our beloved Motorola Droid made an appearance last night during a live television political debate in Florida between Alex Sink and Rick Scott, and left quite the impression. During a break, Sink’s (on the left) makeup artist delivered her a sneaky text message from a campaign aide which is a giant “no-no.” Scott (on the right) sees this all go down as clear as day and outs her! Scott calls her out for using an “i*ad or i*od”, but CNN was quick to correct him, calling it a “Droid smartphone.”
