the X ROM from Bridman releases is the best in its category, it is the first Droid X ROM onto our laps and it’s officially time to get our DX paws a little filthy. even the complete instructions for installations is also given with complete steps.

it also gives us the choice to check Backup Existing ROM and Wipe Data and Cache. I checked both hit ok and it rebooted but nothing happened. Wasn’t this screen supposed to pop at the end of the installation?

The most important thing is that the X will now always get OS updates no matter how old out gets. Sense has never been fully preyed to a non HTC phone because hardware incompatibilities

I’ve completely restored and wiped back to Stock 2.1 Droid X software and tried it from the beginning with nothing on the phone, nothing new other than stock and necessary files. I still have the same problem.

I have done everything on these instructions twice and it is not working. After step 6 it goes into a screen that says “ROM Pre-Installation” and it gives you the choice to check Backup Existing ROM and Wipe Data and Cache. I checked both hit ok and it rebooted but nothing happened. Wasn't this screen supposed to pop at the end of the installation? Also, on Step 9 – the phone rebooted, am I supposed to create the backup and flash the ROM or is it supposed to do it automatically? This is my very first ROM after rooting my phone and I am eager to get it working, thanks

So can or cant you be on the official 2.2? Because it says there that the leaked is necessary, but I'm thinking that that is instead of 2.1. Thanks

Hello I am somewhat new to the android arena, but have succesfully rooted and unrooted my phone couple of times. I just bought bootstrap from Koush and successfully backed up my phone. I am running the stock version of FROYO 2.2 from Verizon. Two questions: 1. What if I could not turn my phone on, is there a way to use bootstrap to restore my saved flash? 2. If I download this ROM here on this page, if I restore my original copy I just made of Verizon's 2.2 Froyo, would I be able to reinstall that with no problem? Basically would it be as though I never installed a custom ROM? Sorry if this is a stupid question- I am learning- but enjoying it. Thanks in advance. andrewtantanella@ymail.com
