Dr Root, I downloaded the beta flash 10.1 for my droid x that has 2.2 on it. I still can't see hulu. Any suggestions

What does overclocking really do for your phone? Does it make your phone process faster? I overclocked my phone at max 800 and cant tell. Also, I have EASY ROOT and am rooted through it. Do I need to unroot my phone to receive any updates, and would I need to reset my overclock to stock settings before selecting “unroot”? I hear some horror stories about people messing up their phones and am worried about messing mine up too.

Ok – so my friends have told me to root my phone.. This is a bit odd because usually I'm telling them these types of things. I've been busy and you know, no time to learn a new skill.. Then last week I get the 2.2 upgrade that I've been waiting for. At first I was like wow, the call log is different, the camera works better when finding photos I just took, and I thought this was great. Monday morning comes and I'm back to the grind, and my Sirius XM app is messed up. It loops every ten seconds, I do the normal fixes first uninstall, battery out, you know the drill.. Come to find out this is a problem that has a fix coming at some point in the future. Not a good answer for me. I'm ready to take the plunge, I want to root my phone, the best advice comes from people not rooting from 2.2. If I can't root from 2.2, how do I first go back to 2.1 or below? I'm sure I'm not the only one that has an issue with Froyo, I also notice that my youtube videos won't play. What up wit dat?? First things first, lets root, and get sirius working.

O wise dr.root what would happen if I use the universal anroot to unroot my droid? Im running simply stunning. Would it make it go away? And woill it go back to stock? or what will happen

I'm assuming it's that dock, plus custom icons, with the launcher icon being an eye and the app icons being text icons. All of those can probably be found in that thread as well.

I use the iPod legacy settings then switch the resolution to strict and audio to whatever track you want don't forget to turn off subs unless you want them. gets you a pretty good picture looks great on the Droid.

I had issues trying to set the right settings in handbrake. Could someone post proper settings that worked for them?
