seriously, my droid 2 has been acting up like crazy... I took it into verizon and they said leave it here and we'll check it out to see whats wrong.... so I did and they said they didn't find anything wrong with it (go figure). I leave the store and get in the car then before I even left the parking lot the phone acts up withing 3 minutes of leaving. The gallery doesn't come up when I click it just closes right away, the phone restarts itself about every 3 hours, it freezes then I have to take the battery out and put it back in, I have to dial *228 just about every day since that's the advice they only ever give that apparently "fixes or updates your phone" (it only updates your signal when you frequently move to another location and or programs your new phone). I just think it's ridiculous they tell you to not download apps to see if that's the problem when you have a phone thats specific for having apps especially that are from the market (not an untrusted source). I mean yes, I obviously will uninstall an app if I have any reason to believe that's the cause of my phone either freezing, stalling, or generally not working. But, what I don't understand is why the Verizon stores continue to tell me they can't do anything, when HELLO, it's the phone software, try telling the technical service technicians to create a new software update so that the frequent problems finally stop or if thats asking too much, at least control the number of issues. I know it's not just me that has the problems because 95% of people I know have a droid, droid 2, or another Verizon "smart phone" that just happen to deal with the same problems that occur with my phone. I really am getting sick of this. I never ever had technical problems with ATT phones ever, which is very rare considering it's easy to have problems with phones. Verizon, honestly just get the dang iPhone, exact same one not some junky Verizon exclusive but the apple iPhone. But, with my knowledge of Verizon, that's like asking for a price drop... not going to happen. I don't understand but Verizon really needs to step up their game. Seriously, 3G? Try being like everyone else... 4G.
