Wow, you all must not be using the same sense I am, because I have switched my incredible to CM6 and then CM7 and couldn’t stand it. Sure, it was speedy, but I found myself having to get apps to replace functions that were already built into sense, and even with the new gingerbread design, Sense is still more consistent and polished. Plus, with the theming options in the newer versions of sense, it’s very customizable. I don’t want to sound like a fanboy, but after using sense, HTC is really the best android experience that I have used, and 3.0 looks even more exciting.

and to those complaining about the transitions slowing things down or being only for looks, what’s the point of having a 1.2gh dualcore processor if the operating system doesn’t need it? Stock gingerbread will be almost exactly the same on the OG droid and the sensation, so HTC shows off the phone’s power through their interface design.

That said, if you hate sense, get a phone that runs stock android and stop complaining.
