After yesterday’s barrage of posts from us on the amount (or lack there of) of Droid X inventory already showing up in stores, Verizon has come out and confirmed that they will have enough on launch day to “meet customer needs.”  We can take that as either meaning they don’t expect to sell more than 25,000 or they have another enormous shipment in transit to bump up the numbers in the various locations we looked at…

“While we are currently experiencing delays on orders of one of our more popular phones. We view that as an anomaly driven by a combination of supply and popularity,” Brenda Raney said. “At present, we feel that we have done everything possible to ensure we have inventory to meet customer needs around the Droid X–the proof will be in the execution on July 15.”

And here’s to execution going off flawlessly.  We hope that as many of you as possible have the chance to get a hold of this device and enjoy all of its glory.

Update:  We just received new shots of the Memphis and Fontana warehouses which appear to be restocked after dropping under 10,000 yesterday.  Throw a party people, Droid X‘s will be flowing in bundles on Thursday!
