Been running out of room on your Motorola Droid because of an addiction to apps?  Those times are almost over according to Google who upgraded Issue 1151 from “assigned” to “future release.”  What is issue 1151?  Oh, just the thread running whose sole purpose in life is to force Google into allowing the installation of apps to your SD card rather than to your phone’s internal storage.  The time is almost upon us.

One of the Android developers on the project even dropped this semi-timeline on us which includes the most famous update word of all time…

Apologies, but I’m not permitted to disclose scheduling information – suffice to say
it’s coming soon 🙂

Sorry for being vague, and thank you for your continued patience – I sincerely
appreciate it.

Happy friday 🙂

Pretty cool right?  No more hacking Apps2SD in ROM Manager anymore!

So should we expect this in Android 2.2?  Will June become the happiest month of 2010 knowing that we’ll be receiving Flash 10.1 and more Android goodies?  Yessir.
